Incident Summary:

10/18/2011: On Tuesday, in Richadih village, Seraikela Kharsawan, Jharkhand, India, a tribal elder, Sudarshan Samad, and his son, Laxman Samad, were abducted by unidentified militants. The two hostages were later killed, and their bodies were recovered by security forces on 10/23/2011. Both victims had their throats slit. No group claimed responsibility, but Communist Party of India-Maoist militants are suspected.
