Incident Summary:

10/09/2011: On Sunday at 1200 noon, at Red Palm Inn in Guiwan village, Zamboanga, Philippines, suspected Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) militants detonated an improvised explosive device targeting the hotel. The blast wounded six people and caused an unknown amount of property damage to the hotel. No group claimed responsibility, although ASG is suspected.
