09/07/2011: On Wednesday afternoon at 1700, in Ghazni City, Ghazni, Afghanistan, Taliban militants fired on and killed a police officer. The officer was identified as Abdul Jalil, and he was returning home from work when he was attacked by gunmen riding on a motorcycle. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack by unknown means.
