Incident Summary:

07/30/2011: On Saturday evening at 2000, in Rohtas, Bihar, India, over 100 heavily-armed suspected Communist Party of India-Maoists (CPI-Maoist) entered the Banda village and fired at random, killing three people. The Maoists carried out the operation in apparent retaliation to the killing of their top leader and self-styled commander Brinder Rana Yadav recently. No group has claimed responsibility.
