07/26/2011: On Tuesday, in the al-Ghuwair Village, near Ba'quba, Diyala, Iraq, unknown assailants detonated an improvised explosive device targeting the house of Ali Hussein, mayor of the al-Ghuwair Village. The blast killed Hussein, wounded his wife and sister, and caused an unknown amount of property damage to the house. No group claimed responsibility.
