07/11/2011: On Monday, in Mughul Abad village in Farah, Afghanistan, a group of unidentified militants kidnapped 33 civilians that were accused of having connection with the government and took them to an unknown location. They also killed one civilian by unknown means. Two of the hostages were beheaded and 16 were released on 07/18/2011. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident and the Taliban denied any involvement.
