Incident Summary:

06/26/2011: On Sunday, in Charcheno, Uruzgan, Afghanistan, suspected Taliban militants gave an eight-year-old girl an improvised explosive device (IED) in a bag and told her to take it to the nearby police post. When she did, the IED was detonated, killing the girl and causing an unknown amount of property damage. Police said that militants tricked the girl into carrying the bag to the police post. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
