Incident Summary:

04/18/2011: On Monday morning, in Pusht-e-Rod, Farah, Afghanistan, unidentified armed militants kidnapped 10 Iranian engineers and five Afghan workers of the Nasar Jahad Tehran Organization by gunpoint and held them in the Anjir area. One Iranian escaped on 04/19/2011 and the remaining hostages were released on 04/20/2011. No casualties were reported and no group claimed responsibility although the Taliban were suspected.
