Incident Summary:

03/05/2011: On Saturday, in Tuz Khurmatu, Salah ad Din, Iraq, unknown assailant detonated a roadside improvised explosive device targeting the convoy of Colonel Ali al-Baiyati, police chief of Tuz Khurmatu. Baiyati escaped unhurt, but five of his bodyguards were wounded. Two of the convoy's vehicles were damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility.
