Incident Summary:

03/01/2011: On Tuesday, in the village of Porroso, Apartado, Antioquia, Colombia, guerrillas from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) fired upon a government delegation caravan of seven vehicles being escorted by the Colombian army. The attack left one soldier and one farmer dead and caused an unknown amount of property damage to the caravan. The delegation, which included the national director of Social Action Diego Molano, the commander of the national army's 17th Brigade General Hernan Giraldo Quejadas and several journalists, was travelling to visit an indigenous community in the region. No group has claimed responsibility.
