Incident Summary:
02/17/2011: On Thursday, on an unspecified road in a rural area of La Argentina, Huila, Colombia, mayor Dagoberto Gaitan Guerrero was fired upon by suspected members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). The mayor, along with his driver, Victor Hugo Arroyo, a teacher, Edilma Montoya, and council member Carlos Julio Rodriguez, were wounded in the attack. It is unknown if the attack resulted in any property damage to the mayor's vehicle. No group has claimed responsibility.
