Incident Summary:

02/08/2011: On Tuesday night around 2230, in Majhariya, Bara, Narayani, Nepal, militants shot and killed an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, identified as Sikendra Prsad Yadav, while he was returning to his home in Bhagwanpur-8. Jitendra Tiwari, a central leader of the Jay Krishna Goit-led Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), telephoned the local media claiming responsibility for this incident. Tiwari stated that the killing was a warning to the state.
