Incident Summary:

01/24/2011: On Monday, in the al-Qadssiyah area of Tikrit, Salah ad Din, Iraq, a roadside improvised explosive device detonated near the convoy of the provincial governor Ahmed Abdullah al-Jubouri, who escaped the attack unhurt. Four of his bodyguards were wounded in the attack. The amount of damage from the attack is unknown. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
