Incident Summary:

01/12/2011: On Wednesday night, in Jhakia village in Bokaro, Jharkhand, India, unidentified militants killed a civilian, identified as Bhusan Marandi, by slitting his throat. Marandi was suspected of being a police informer and tipping off the police about militant movements leading to the killings of three cadres on 01/11/2011. No group claimed responsibility, but it was suspected that Communist Party of India-Maoist militants were responsible.
