12/16/2010: On Thursday, in the Soya area of Ranchi, Simdega, Jharkhand, India, suspected People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) militants fired upon and killed two civilians and wounded two others. The specific motive for the attack is unknown; however, the victims were said to be Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M) sympathizers. No group claimed responsibility.
