11/30/2010: On Tuesday, in the rural village of La Hormiga, San Miguel, Putumayo, Colombia, assailants set fire to three road construction vehicles. The vehicles were damaged but the attack resulted in no casualties. No group claimed responsibility but authorities suspected the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) carried out the attack, due to the refusal of the company to pay extortion money to the guerrillas.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
