Incident Summary:

11/29/2010: On Monday night, in Darkha, Samangan, Afghanistan, unidentified gunmen kidnapped two engineers of the Public Works Ministry along with their driver while inspecting the Darah Sauf-Mazar-i-Sharif road project. No group claimed responsibility, but the Taliban was suspected of demanding a ransom of 200,000 dollars for one of the engineers and killed him when it wasn't delivered. The status of the remaining hostages is unknown.
