Incident Summary:

11/26/2010: On Friday, in Miraflores, Guaviare, Colombia, troops from the 4th Brigade of the Colombian Army found and safely defused an improvised explosive device that was planted in the residence of Miraflores Mayor, Carlos Ivan Flores. The explosive was composed of two mortar grenades and 15 meters of detonating cord that was intended to be detonated from a cell phone. No group claimed responsibility but authorities suspected the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) was responsible for the attack.
