Incident Summary:

11/26/2010: On Friday afternoon, in Anahaw village in Tago, Surigao del Sur, Philippines, unidentified militants raided and destroyed the Dole Food Company’s banana plantation. No casualties were reported, but 22,000 fully grown banana plants worth nearly 250,000 U.S. dollars were destroyed. No group claimed responsibility, but it was suspected that New People’s Army (NPA) militants were responsible.
