Incident Summary:

11/23/2010: On Tuesday, close to the rural area of Tres Bocas on an unspecified road that leads to Tibu, Norte de Santander, Colombia, militants set up a roadblock by abandoning a Toyota van loaded with explosives in an effort to prevent civilians and public authorities from entering the area. Due to a public curfew enacted by the local government after a wave of similar attacks targeting public infrastructure suspected to be perpetrated by the 33rd Front of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), military troops were unable to defuse the car bomb right away. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
