Incident Summary:

10/26/2010: On Tuesday night around 0130, in a village in Pikit, North Cotabato, Philippines, unidentified armed men, believed to be supporters of defeated barangay (village) candidates, torched a school building. Five classrooms inside Gocotan Elementary School were torched to the ground. The school was the polling place of at least five precincts for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK, youth council) elections. No casualties were reported and no group claimed responsibility for the attack.
