10/18/2010: On Monday, on National Highway 221 near Tongpal, Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, India, a dozen unidentified militants set ablaze three vehicles and two tippers engaged in road construction work, causing an unknown amount of property damage. No casualties were reported and no group claimed responsibility, but it was suspected that cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M) were responsible.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
