Incident Summary:

09/09/2010: On Thursday, in Charkh, Lowgar, Afghanistan, nine armed assailants surrounded the residence of a former jihadi commander, pulled him out of the residence, and fired upon and killed him. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Taliban was responsible. There was no property damage reported in the attack.
