09/08/2010: On Wednesday night, in Siromoni village in West Midnapore, West Bengal, India, five unidentified militants on motorcycles shot and killed Trinamool Congress party supporter Jithen Soren. No group claimed responsibility, but it was suspected that cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M) were responsible.
