Incident Summary:
09/07/2010: On Tuesday around 1130, near Kizlyar, in Dagestan, Russia, a bomb on the Kizlyar-to-Artezianskaya railroad line derailed a locomotive and five freight cars. The attack took place between the Komsomolskiy and Novonikolayevsky stations and damaged 150 meters of track. No were injuries reported, but grain being transported from Astrakhan to Kizilyurt was spilled. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack. Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators.
