Incident Summary:

09/01/2010: On Wednesday night at 0330, on a local road in Huay Nho village in Khok Pho, Pattani, Thailand, a married rubber tapper couple, identified as Surasak Kiatkaew and Kanueng, was shot and killed an in ambush. The militants also damaged the motorcycle they were riding. No group claimed responsibility, but authorities believed that Muslim separatists were responsible.
