Incident Summary:

8/19/2010: An improvised explosive device buried beside the road detonated in Keniza, Boumerdès province, Algeria. The device exploded as a military convoy was passing by; following the explosion, Suspected members of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) opened fire on the convoy. Three soldiers were killed and at least another two were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
