08/02/2010: On Monday, in Qaisar, Faryab, Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device placed by unidentified militants targeting a civilian vehicle was detonated. The blast killed five tribal elders, wounded four civilians and caused an unknown amount of property damage. No group claimed responsibility, but authorities suspected that the Taliban was responsible.
