Incident Summary:

07/08/2010: On Thursday night around 0145, in Latehar, Jharkhand, India, around 100-120 unidentified militants attacked the Hehegara railway station using dynamite and explosives, causing an unreported amount of damage. The specific motive for the attack is unknown; however, the attack occurred on the second day of a shutdown called by rebels to protest the killing of one of their top leaders. No casualties were reported and no group claimed responsibility, but it was suspected militants belonging to the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) were responsible.
