Incident Summary:

06/19/2010: On Saturday evening, in one of three related attacks, in Kasiabeda village, Jamsehdpur, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand, India, assailants fired upon and wounded the president of the public distribution system (PDS) dealers, Ramchandra Mardi, alias Hopan Mardi. No damages were reported in the attack. Pamphlets left by the rebels described the victims as police informers and warned villagers against helping the police. The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility.
