Incident Summary:

06/17/2010: Assailants abducted 23 paramilitary soldiers from a checkpost in Mohmand agency, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. The soldiers were executed on February 16, 2014. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating it executed the soldiers in retaliation for the Pakistani government’s custodial killing of fellow TTP members.
