05/27/2010: On Thursday afternoon at 1845, in Stavropol, Russia, an unshelled explosive device detonated at the Stavropol House of Culture; seven people were killed and 46 injured in the bombing. The blast damaged the cultural center and a nearby cafe. The bomb was equivalent to 0.4 kilograms of TNT and was packed with steel ball bearings. Authorities believed Islamic Extremists or nationalists were responsible.
