Incident Summary:

05/07/2010: On Friday, assailants detonated an improvised explosive device which was attached to the vehicle of a Sahwa Council Leader near Ba'qubah, Diyala, Iraq. The leader was killed, three Sahwa council members and two civilians were wounded. The vehicle was also damaged. No group claimed responsibility, however it is believed that the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) were responsible.
