02/19/2010: On Friday, in the night, in Archi, Kondoz, Afghanistan, armed assailants attacked the residence of a district chief, causing no casualties and unknown amount of property damage. Police responding to the attack returned fired and killed an attacker on the spot. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed Taliban rebels under Mullah Khanak were responsible.
