02/16/2010: On Tuesday, in Mosul, Ninawa, Iraq, assailants detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device near the Criminal Evidence Department, killing two police officers, wounding five other officers, wounding four civilians, and damaging the police facility. No group claimed responsibility, although it was believed the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) was responsible.
