12/24/2009: On Thursday, assailants kidnapped one tribal elder in Salarza, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. In the same area on 12/26/2009, the body of the victim was found, having been assaulted by beheading. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Taliban was responsible.
