Incident Summary:

12/20/2009: On Sunday evening at 2130, in Mayo, Pattani, Thailand, armed assailants set fire to the Bata Kubo school, damaging the school but causing no injuries. The teachers living quarters of the school were damaged. Two of eight soldiers, who arrived at the Bata Kubo school in Mayo district, were shot at their hands and injured. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed Muslim separatists were responsible.
