Incident Summary:

12/15/2009: On Tuesday around 0725, the first bombing out of four consecutive explosions detonated in a parking area near the Ministry of Immigration and Displaced Persons in Baghdad, Iraq. At least four people were killed and another 14 were wounded in the blasts. All three explosions occurred within minutes of one another. Baghdad Operations Command said the blasts had been caused by mine and homemade explosives packed inside vehicles. The group said the owners of the parking lots had been arrested for failing to search cars properly or to request documents from the motorists who parked there. One man was struck by shrapnel in the head. No group claimed responsibility.
