11/22/2009: On or about Sunday, in Charbolak, Balkh, Afghanistan, on the Mazar-e Sharif-Shibirgan highway, assailants detonated a remote-controlled improvised explosive device near a convoy of vehicles, damaging a vehicle belonging to an unidentified non-governmental organization but resulting in no casualties. The Taliban claimed responsibility.
