11/12/2009: On Thursday afternoon at 1300, in the Sab'ah Nisan district of Baghdad, Iraq, in a drive-by shooting, assailants fired upon and killed the principal of the Ma'ali School for Girls outside the school gates in the eastern Ghadir neighborhood. The Islamic State of Iraq claimed responsibility.
