Incident Summary:

10/30/2009: On Friday evening at about 2030, in Iflissen, Tizi Ouzou, Algeria, 20 armed assailants attacked a hotel, kidnapping the hotel owner and the hotel bus driver and stealing the bus. The next day the bus driver was found, and two days after that the hotel owner was released. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Al-Ansar battalion of Al-Qaida Organization in Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) was responsible.
