Incident Summary:

10/27/2009: On Tuesday morning at 1045 , suspected militants hurled a grenade inside a Roman Catholic Church in the southern Philippines but there were no casualties in the attack. The blast occurred inside the church along Arolas Street in Jolo, Sulu, Philippines. No group claimed responsibility for the attack but Philippine troops blamed militants belonging to the Abu Sayyaf group.
