Incident Summary:

10/22/2009: On Thursday morning around 0630, in Mogadishu, Banaadir, Somalia armed assailants fired mortars at the Mogadishu International Airport as the President of Somalia was boarding a flight to Uganda. The mortars struck the perimeter of the airport causing no casualties or damage. Al-Shabaab al-Islamiya claimed responsibility.
