Incident Summary:

10/15/2009: On Thursday, in nearby village of Bato-bato, Sulu, suspected Al Qaida affiliated militants bombed a bridge, leaving it impassable to vehicles. The bridge called Talatak connects the town to other areas in the province and is frequently used by the military in the deployment of soldiers fighting the Abu Sayyaf and Moro rebels. No casualties were reported in the attack, and no group has claimed responsibility.
