09/28/2009: On Monday, in Mogadishu, Banaadir, Somalia, militants executed by firing squad, two people accused of spying for the United States Central Intelligence Agency and African Union peacekeepers. The execution was in retaliation for the United States raid in Somalia a few weeks earlier. No material damage was reported and the group Al Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.
