08/29/2009: On Saturday morning, near Sinjar, Ninawa, Iraq, assailants detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in a market, killing six civilians and two, wounding 20 civilians, and damaging the market. No group claimed responsibility, although it was believed the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) could have been responsible.
