Incident Summary:

08/19/2009: On Wednesday morning, in central Kabul, Kabul, Afghanistan, three gunmen armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and hand grenades, seized control of a commercial bank. Security forces surrounded the bank and the three assailants were killed before they could cause any damage or casualties. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack via telephone.
