08/11/2009: On Tuesday, in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, assailants fired upon and killed Jairo Martinez, the prosecutor responsible for running investigations on some of the Manuel Cepeda Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) members. No group claimed responsibility but authorities believe FARC was responsible.
