Incident Summary:

07/29/2009: On Wednesday, late in the night, an assistant village chief, Sama-air Aryae, 43, was gunned down in an ambush on the intra-village road of U-bae village of Bannang Sata, Thailand, while riding his motorcycle back home. Police suspect insurgents were responsible. There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack.
