07/29/2009: On Wednesday, near Brahmanipal police outpost, in Keonjhar, Orissa, India, assailants fired upon and killed two police officers, Muralidhar Bastia and Hadibandhu Mahanta. No group claimed responsibility, but it was believed the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) was responsible.
